What's A blog and Why Should I Own One

If you are like me who do not fancy the stress of designing a website or paying a website designer for one, then you may as well need a blog.

A blog is actually the short name for weblog. It is a platform, where you can actually write and update posts on anything you feel like writing about or anything you have passion for.I like to refer to it as a diary.

There Five Major Reasons You Need A Blog:
1. You have so much ideas, but people do not seem to appreciate them. You can blog about them and possibly get the world to be your audience and partner.

2. You want to create a global brand name.

3. You have a passion for writing.

4. You want to make money online.

5. You need fulfilment in expression your thoughts.

The beauty of owning a blog is that you can turn your blogs to ebooks and make money by selling them and also, you can turn any ebook you have rights for into blog posts.

Setting up a blog just like mine is very easy. I will recommend three popular blogging platforms for you in my order of increasing priority.

Word Press

Blogger

Please I recommend you sign up with any of the above if you have a passion to reach the world and your audience with your posts.

I use Blogger because it allows me the opportunity to earn when a visitor visits my blog or searches with my search box. This earning scheme is called: Google Adsense. My favorite blogger; Seth Godin, uses Type Pad because of simplicity, so you can choose any blogging platform that suits what you need.
